Nissan President

Nissan is well known for making sports car like Nissan GTR, but in the year 1966 they merged with another automobile vehicle company (Prince Motors) for the production of luxury sedan known as Nissan President. By the name of it we can tell that it must be a top notch executive JDM car out there. This car was among the first ever cars that was solely produced, marketed and sold by Nissan. The production began in the year 1965. The reason why Nissan manufactured this car was to compete the well known car in the market known as Toyota Crown, because both the cars share the same market and buyers.

If we talk about the base spec models, it comes with the 3.0L 6-cylinder engine but the newer generations such as third and fourth generations came with the 4.5L V8 engines. Nissan discontinued the manual transmission Nissan President right after the first generation and started to manufacture the car in automatic transmission. This car has also emotional value attached to it because it was the first ever JDM VIP sedan which was way better than its competitors and got nicknamed as Japanese Rolls Royce. It was also the first ever JDM car to have Anti-Lock Breaking system in it. If we talk about the safety features of this car, as we've mentioned above that it was the first ever JDM cars to have ABS that Nissan used in the year 1971 in the first generation of this car. apart from the ABS, it also came with dual front airbags and side curtain airbags for the front seat passenger and driver and also for the rear seat passengers as well.  The car had an excellent built quality that attracted the customers towards it and if we talk about the interior, the passengers are greeted by the soft multi layered silk woolen seats and if you like to have some privacy, you can also close the rear window blinds. You can also get Nissan President in leather seats options if you prefer. Nissan went one step ahead by introducing heating as well as massaging seats in this car with an excellent legroom for the passengers. This car was produced in limited figures and because of that it appreciated in its value because of its high demand. Genuinely speaking, the performance of the isn't great but its the smoothness of the car that plays its role. It can be understood by this example that if you put coffee on the dashboard and accelerate the car with full throttle, the coffee won't spill because of the smoothness of the car.

The exterior of car is minimal yet elegant because of the chrome bits across the body length, badges etc. The last generation of Nissan President was launched in the year 2003 and was discontinued on the year 2010. It was 4.5L V8 engine and was highly equipped with the modern features and luxury options and same soft leather silk woolen or leather seats that were the favorite part of the car for its collectors.
