Toyota Supra

 TOYOTA SUPRA  is a Japanese sports car which was launched in 1998. This model was also known as MK4   . The price of this car depends on which variant you choice. Toyota offered 3 variants in this car which were turbo engine or naturally aspirated one, the other option was of transmission either you could have a manual one or an automatic one, the third option was about the roof of the car, either you could have a hardtop or sports roof. Supra was the best sports car at that time and it got famous because  of its beautiful design and also because of its engine. The stock engine which supra had was known as 2JZ-GTE which used to produce 321 horsepower and 315 torque. Due to its super chargers supra was able to do 0-60 mph in under 4.7 seconds. If this supra was well tuned and modified it was capable of going up tp 1500 horsepower. Its engine was very reliable and very strong. The only disadvantage this engine had was that it had an external timing belt instead of a chain but it was easy to be replaced.  Talking about the brakes efficiency toyota supra had downright atrocious the base model had 11.6 inches front rotars and the turbo variants had 12.7 inches rotars on the front.  

TOYOTA SUPRA TRANSMISSION :

 Almost 20 years ago toyota had offered 2 types of transmissions . The base variant had 4 speed automatic transmission and the other variant had 6 speed manual transmission which toyota made by doing partnership with Getrag. While it is a robust gearbox 

TOYOTA SUPRA INTERIOR:

The interier of toyota supra is no less then a cockpit, all the gauges and entertainment system are focusing towards the driver. The gauges of toyota supra are very big and easy to read and the shifter is in optimal spot. There is enough leg space for the driver and the passanger but behind them are 2 very small seats at the back on which only small children could sit. Toyota played very well by placing these 2 small seats at the back beacuse they wanted the car to fit in 4 seater insurance policy.

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS TOYOTA SUPRA:

toyota supra main reason of success was that paul walker the main hero of the movie used to drive this car and race other people. At first they showed us about the car restoration  process after which the movie had a scene in which toyota supra had a race with ferrari and supra won. After that this car had a huge demand and youngsters went crazy for this car. There was also a scene in wich they had shown that paul walker opens the roof of the car and the roof blows away in the air while paul walker was trying to save Vince from a semi truck. 

Further more the movie had an ending which showed paul walker having a streetrace with vin desiel. They both rev there engines and wait for the green light. as soon as the light becomes green race starts between the two after some time they both hear a train coming and they noth step on the gas while  the supra cross the train with in time while vin desiel crashes in to the train, after that cops are chasing them so paul walker gives the keys of supra to vin desiel so that he can escape the cops. And from these all scenes of toyota supra from the movie the car demand increased soo much that even today after more than 20 years people are still huge fans of toyota supra
