Mazda RX-8 is a Japanese sports car manfactured by Mazda company in 2002. This car was the successor of mazda RX-7. It had rotary engine which got very famous because jets also used to have rotary engines. This beautiful car was designed by Ikuo maeeda. The body type of this sports car is Quad coupe with front mid engine and rear wheel drive. This car had a huge demand due to which mazda had to produce around 192 thousand units. Its engine was known as wankel rotary which was 1300cc but due to its rotary engine it was able to produce 200 above horsepower with just 1300cc. It had 4 seats and had very different door opening style which was known as freestyle doors. This sports car had 50:50 front rear weight distribution

This sports car had 2703mm wheelbase with the length of 4.425mm. All the models which were produced after 2008 had the length of 4470mm. The width of this car was 1770mm while the height of this car was 1340mm. The weight of this car was 1373kg while the automatic variant had 1384kg
RX-8 Variants:
- RX 8 had many different variants such as 6 speed manual which produced 232 horsepower at 8250 rpm. This model was known as TYPE S in japan
- 5 speed manual which had the capacity of producing 189 horsepower and the redline of the rpm was also reduced to 7500rpm
- 6 speed automatic which had paddle shifters as well so it could be enjoyed in manual mode as well. This variant was able to produce 212 horsepower with the redline at 7500 rpm. All the automatic versions had lesser horsepower because of lack of availability of transmissions what could be reliable for higher rpm limits
